Notes: This series represents the total resources (assets) of the Philippine banking system. Total resources include cash, loans and receivables, investments, and other assets held by financial institutions. Data from March 2008 onwards for universal and commercial banks and thrift banks, and from March 2010 onwards for rural and cooperative banks, are derived from the Financial Reporting Package using Standardized Report Forms (SRFs). Assets are reported gross of allowance for probable losses and depreciation.1
