Notes: This series represents the annual percentage change in government final consumption expenditure at current prices, comparing each year with the previous year. Government final consumption expenditure (GFCE) measures government spending on goods and services for current use. GFCE is derived separately for national government, local government, social security schemes, and non-profit institutions serving government using data from the Commission on Audit and the Department of Budget and Management.1
